I’m happy to share this image, just sent to me as a surprise from the United States by a pilgrim I had the chance to meet last summer, who at the time was passing through Viterbo with his wife and another couple. At that moment I only had one wooden panel available, dedicated to the arcana of the Stars, and he stepped back to let his friends have it right away, only contacting me afterwards to get his own. That’s the spirit of the pilgrim, showing in every aspect of life: self-sacrifice and support for fellow travellers. I want to thank him, because unexpectedly, right at this moment, he found a way to make me feel truly appreciated, but above all he found an occasion to embrace the whole of Italy… Thank you, friends – in this case from Minnesota – for giving us the strength to believe that what we love to do is appreciated by you, so much so that you dedicate a corner of your home to “made in Italy”.
