The staff members of “Tourists 4 Future”, who are crossing Italy from Palermo to Bergamo in search of excellence and new, unusual destinations, telling the story of a post-Covid Italy on their social media with a twofold goal – Sustainability and Solidarity – visited Cinzia Chiulli’s Percorsi Artistici workshop in Viterbo, Via San Pellegrino, 27. “We call ourselves Tourists 4 Future because we believe that tourism, if done ethically, can change the world for the better,” is how they introduce themselves. Explorers, anthropologists, navigators, photographers, musicians and environmental guides. They are always travelling, alone or accompanying tourists to discover the world. Travelling is their job and their passion. Having set off on 1 July from Palermo, they are crossing Italy bound for Bergamo. Tourists 4 Future wants to be a symbolic journey of an Italy rising again after the Covid emergency. Cinzia Chiulli welcomed them, was interviewed, spoke about the Tarot cards of Viterbo, then the young people added their signature to a fragment of peperino, to mark their passage, just as all the pilgrims of the Via Francigena passing through Viterbo are doing: “YOUR STEP IS ALREADY HISTORY!” It was a wonderful experience, an encounter that enriched us: the young people passed on to us their optimism and their desire to explore and seek out BEAUTY!
