Ceramic Red Shoes and other works of art to say NO to violence against women
From the hands of Cinzia Chiulli Percorsi Artistici comes the peperino fragment with overglaze “grand fire” painting. The stop to violence. The Lion, symbol of Viterbo and of pride in wanting to curb violence against women. An hourglass replaces the FAVL globe to say enough to the time of abuse. On a white flag, the number 1522 orders men to surrender.
The event, an exhibition created to say NO to violence against women and to highlight the importance of the anti-violence and stalking helpline 1522, is set for Saturday 25 November 2023 in Viterbo, on Ponte del Duomo.
So many different ways to shout the very same message loud and clear: no to violence against women. The Municipality of Viterbo, CNA Associazione di Viterbo e Civitavecchia and the Liceo Artistico IIS Orioli are taking part in the project by AiCC (the Italian Association of Ceramic Cities).
